So a nuclear bomb, airplane and sky scrappers have nothing to do with science I guess.

Just the type of comment to expected by an idiot. With out science we would still be living in huts. Yet without religion, we would more than likely already be off of this planet inhabiting others. I see where you are going with the whole nuclear bomb thing... but you blame airplanes and sky scrappers too? Oh you are right! With out those damn planes and buildings, those religious nuts whould have no other way to kill people. Damn science to hell... oh wait, that place doesn't exhist. Go on sheep, your heard is calling you.

Western science came from the Church. Unfortunately the secular education system deliberately fails to mentions this.

@canon4487 i don't believe he was saying that skyscrappers and airplanes were the cause of this, i think he was making a point that just because religion is involved with a catastrophe doesn't mean that religion is no good. just as although skyscrapers and airplanes may be involved with a catastrophe doesn't mean they are no good. Anyway, this is not accurate, it was terrorists who flew into the towers and it was astronauts who went the moon. this picture basically is trying to say that science is good and religion is bad BUT THATS NOT TRUE. religion and science are NEUTRAL, it is people who are either bad or good.

Yeah and the burning of Galileo and damming of those who proposed elliptical orbits two thousand years ago (yeah imagine where we'd be now) is just hocum? Religion/ superstition has not shown itself to be neutral.
